A natural glow.

Boston, MA | Residential

For a pair of photographers and art lovers’ South End condo, Planeta Design Group was tasked to create a light-filled home within a deep space that featured only one window wall. This renovation included light wide-plank flooring; a monolithic use of millwork, glass and tile; ceiling soffits for indirect light; and soft raw plaster walls that helped to absorb natural light and glow rather than reflect it. Details like an in-wall art hanging rail, minimalist modular kitchen and millwork pocket doors help to avoid distracting from the simple beauty of the space and featured art, while elements such as the hanging rope light and European furnishings act as art pieces all on their own.
